ABOUT BRIARDS from VELIKIY NOVGOROD For the first time having seen briard on covers of German magazine " Der Hund " in 1990 I have simply fallen in love with this breed, as they say at first sight. Two years corresponding with factory owners from Germany, having learned the standard of breed, its feature - was solved to get briard. After long searches, at last in 1992 the letter from Simone Hintze that at her friend Angelika Elsholz (Paul) in briard kennel " v. Schaferstein " were born puppies from Andor v. Haus Bolk and Sissi v. Schaferstein has come. We have agreed, that Simone can bring our "girl" to Russia. Some months of expectation - and in March, 1993 we already met at airport " Pulkovo" in Peterburg - ours briard-puppies. We shall not forget this meeting never: have declared landing(planting) the plane from Berlin, already all passengers have passed the customs control, and friends, briard it was not visible. And suddenly occurs Simone with the carriage on which there is a big cell(cage), and beside runs fawn, shaggy, little bit tousled puppies which seems refers to as BRIARD. It was my first personal acquaintance to this breed. It is a little having waited when will pass the customs and veterinary control, we already might embrace each other. This fawn puppies jumped to us on hands (nothing understanding in Russian) as though she was born in our house. And further 2 hours up to Novgorod by the car. We have chatted with Simone all night, considered a pedigree, a photo of parents, and shaggy puppies has overslept all night in the company small colli - puppies (at the moment of arrival us a vein colli Linda and at her were puppies). Linda was 8 years and it has accepted briard as the. It is a little having stayed for a while, Simone has departed, and this small essence remained. In Pedigree she Vanja v. Schaferstein, houses we have named her Vanja. So in Novgorod the first has appeared briard. In one month Vanja went on the first exhibition - from this exhibition was begun her exhibition career.

Almira Fines Favorite. Now at us in city briard was already 3!!! In August, 1994 at an exhibition in Novgorod all were shown Novgorod briard.
Due to regular performances(come forward) at exhibitions in our region - popularity briards began to grow. And we have understood, that BRIARD is OUR BREED. 10.10.1994 years at us in city were born the first puppies from Vanja and Agent Dandar (fawn), import of Czechia . For this purpose we had to visit to Ekaterinburg. Was born 7 charming fawn briards (more in detail on page Vanja and Vanja's Puppies) - a letter "À". Two puppies have left for Moscow - Alex and Alisa. The others have remained with us. 04.11.1995 years were born one more puppies - a letter "B " from Romi Desirei and Ch. Russia Nortis Batterfley (Moscow). Was born 2 fawn female - Betti and Blesli. Blesli has left for Ryazan, and Betti has remained in Novgorod. Betti till now actively participates in exhibitions. 17.01.1996 years were born puppies from sister Romi - Ranet and Moscow fawn dog Le Grant Est Fal Bachor - a letter "V". Dogs also were brought in Novgorod from Moscow and Ryazan: fawn female - Vikki, born.15.12.1996 year, (f. Ch. Russia Marat de Simon + m. Dekler Abigal), a fawn male - Agan Durua Kusen, born 22.11.1997 year, (f. Mirakl en Pual Urs Savag + m. Brisa Batterfley). After acquaintance with Tapio Harjanne, the owner of nursery " Petite Noblesse " (Finland) we have got from him in 1998 of black dog Petite Noblesse Xilomon Xakoff (Rusti).
We were very much interested with his pedigree. He was born in Finland - his father Ugo de la Morne Plaine lives in Austria (Gerda Friedl), and mother - Amadea Krasna Celebrita is brought in Finland from Czechia. So he has turned out "international". Rusti appeared very pleasant in dialogue, he perfectly gets on both with people, and with all animals. He very quiet - than has drawn considerable attention to himself. In many respects due to the character, he became interesting to many briards-owners and for breeding. After dialogue with him at us in city began to be popular black briard. 07.01.2000 years were born next puppies - from Agan Durua Kusen + multi ÑÀÑ, BOB Betti- a letter "G". From this puppies especially it would be desirable to note a dog Gavr. He very well has an exhibition career - 4*ÑÀÑ, R.CACIB etc. Hope, that his breeding activity will develop successfully.
